The hotel was a 15-minute walk from King's Cross Station, easy to find and immaculately clean. We stayed for one night and were surprised at how quiet our nights stay was, considering the other reviews. The bed was very comfy. There were plenty of towels, toiletries, and loo rolls stocked in the bathroom and coffee/tea making facilities. The room was fitted with a desk, double bed, and ensuite with a shower. The gentleman on reception was polite and friendly. We checked in without issue and enjoyed the easy check-in/out system. We didn't need to take the tube once during our stay. All of the activities we had booked were a maximum 20-minute walk away, so you really can't beat the location or the very reasonable price.

Hassan, the member of staff who received us, was very kind and friendly - he even allowed us to enter our room one hour before the official check-in which was extremely helpful. The location is superb, a quiet street in a residential area just two blocks away from St Pancras, King's Cross and Euston stations, and also within walking distance to Russell Square tube station. The room was very comfortable, clean, modern and it had everything we needed for one night, including free coffee and tea with milk and sugar, and even a little fridge!

The hotel is not staffed so it is self check in/out and is self sufficient. The room was clean and compact however had tea/coffee making facilities as well as a fridge for keeping purchases cool. The hotel is not air conditioned but then this is London and not many small hotels are. There is a set of traffic lights right outside so there will be traffic noise but this is central London so was expected, I slept with the windows open as I like fresh air (as fresh as it is in the Capital) and would definitely stay again.

The hotel is quite good positioned within London. Very close to Russell Square, which has a direct tube connection with Heathrow, and also near King's Cross, which makes it easy if you are traveling within the city (the underground is very well connected) or somewhere outside the city for the day (you have trains from King's Cross and St. Pancras from basically anywhere). I have stayed there once and would stay again. The self check in was also very effective and easy.

Room number 12, itself was good, there were a few steps to carry your heavy suitcase, it was manageable for this septuagenarian. Room was good even though it's not air-conditioned, they provided a small table fan that was adequate. Bathroom was clean and kept clean. I stayed for two nights. I could not get the coffee maker to work. Checking in and checking out was okay, it was rather robotic and mechanical. I did not mind.
